IMA (32K) Horsing aroud at Warwick

Phil and Stuart had a weekend horsing aroud at Warwick filming the Horse Trails 12th to 14th May. Some amazing jumps and falls recorded for posterity. Thanks for another great job guys.

IMA (32K) Post office Square

Team Diabetes Launch in Post Office Square today the 2nd May was a resounding successwith host Ian Eckersley introducing Pole Dancer Lena and Hawaiian Hula Dancer Anna-Lys. Volunteers from Suncorp encouraged passers by to partake of coffee, low GI muffins and fruit salads while the entertainment went on with music filling the square from a sound system provided by Video Data.

The laying of the Keystone at St John's Cathedral today by the Prime Minister was viewed on big screens provided by Video Data. With a multi camera coverage for maximum impact inside the cathedral and extra speakers for the crowd outside. Thanks to James Still for organising us and Nick for his usual attention to detail.

IMA (32K)IMA Success

DLP data projectors and LCD screens from VideoDATA helped make the latest exhibition at the IMA a great success, with the artists images displayed in a very innovative manner with images projected on the floor and meeting in corners etc,. Special t hanks to Vanessa and Mark at IMA and to Ian's installation skills.

After the spreeches and presentations Ford Dealers were treated to live music at their recent dinner at St Lucia Golf Club's function room. Phil on his 4:3 camera adapting his shots for the 16:9 screens provided by organisers demonstrating his versatility in a difficult situation.

 

IMA (32K)Mud Bulls and Music

Another successful Mud Bulls and Music at Jimna with cameras, projectors and crew supplied for the rodeos and concerts. A great time had by all in spite of the weather which only added to the atmosphere for all the mudlarks.

Miss University 05 finals held at the Marriott Gold Coast used Video Data to supply the plasma screens for on stage. Nick and Stuart and Pierre setting them for another successful evening.

IMA (32K)Institute of Modern Art

The models strode out at the Institute of Modern Art with Video Data providing camera footage, plasma screens and switching expertise. Eight designers presented the latest in fashion trends and fashion experts crowded the two galleries for a very successful night.

Yes, Nick turned 40. So now he can officially acknowledge all the gray hair a top Operations Manager earns in a busy year at Video Data.

Rear projection screens allowed the congregation front row viewing for Anglican Primate Phillip Aspinall's Inauguration in Brisbane's St John's Cathedral.

Muster officials followed the action with monitors supplied by Video Data.

The crowd on the hill were able to enjoy mosh pit views without pain thanks to the 7 metre screens supplied by Video Data. These showed closeups of the artists as they performed at Gympie's Music Muster 2005.

Attendees at the Woolshed were treated to a taste of Convict Norfolk Island recently as they enjoyed presentations from various resort groups.

There were mouth watering invitations from resorts spread from O"Reilly's to Innaminka to Fiji.

Pierre looked after the speakers' presentations, which all had their desired impact.

IMA (32K) VALE Geoffrey Bielefeld

We have lost the one Geoff Bielefeld whose presence in our association was invariably as a spreader of warmth and friendship with that iminitable gentle smile.

The crowded send off at Geoff's last pack down speaks volumes of the love and friendship he generated.

Fujitsu's stand at CEDIA at the Gold Coast Convention Centre was another successful install with Stuart providing the cabling expertise to run the various component signals to each of the six plasmas, and to the new HD1080 711 projector.This has awesome picure quality and has to be seen to be believed!! T

IMA (32K) Esk's Mater RaceDay

Esk's Mater Raceday was the usual massive turnout with Vince, Pierre, Leon, Martin and Martin taking care of videoing the races for the stewards room, and for trainers and owners.

Leon is retiring from today. More than 20 years ago, he initiated video recordings in South East Queensland Regional Race Meetings. We wish him a long and happy retirement.

IMA (32K) State of Origin

It's June/July, so it must be that time when Canetoads and Cockroaches come to do battle. Of course this year we've been involved with many venues presenting the spectacle that is State of Origin.

One highlight for us was our coverage of The Legends Dinner at Suncorp Stadium. Our top camera operators and our professional camera equipment made certain that this celebration of the Legends of Rugby League was superbly presented.

IMA (32K) SKY Channel Racing Retro

The major Thoroughbred Racing events of the June 2005 Winter Carnival saw us supplying plasma screens for a number of our valued clients in the entertainment marquees.

One of the highlights of the Carnival was the presentation of the Sunday morning Racing Retro TV Show, broadcast live from the track. Lots of racing fans turned up, and though it was in the open, they were easily able to view the show on Videodata's plasma screens.

Nick Patterson, Videodata Operations Manager was happy with the way the plasmas performed even in such a high ambient light environment.

Institute of Modern Art

Recently, the exhibition of Shaun Gladwells' street culture videos "Various Roles" needed the quality of Videodata's colour-matched projectors to accentuate the results within the four walls of the gallery.

Germaine Greer

VideoData Staging and Hire, in conjunction with the Australian Institute of Management(AIM) and The Queensland University of Technology(QUT), were proud supporters and Audiovisual suppliers for The Germaine Greer Luncheon held at the Sheraton Brisbane Hotel. 650 guests were treated to an elaborate aural and visual display as Germaine delivered her unique brand of management advice.

Latin Dance Party in The Piazza

The Piazza throbbed to a latin beat. The main screen kept the dance crowd entertained, aided, of course by Videodata's professional cameras and video switching gear. A great time was had by all!!
